Although there has not been much time to recover from what was an exhausting Donington weekend, Dominique Aegerter has no objection to continuing the fight for success and championship points immediately.

Just a few days after crossing the Channel, FIM Superbike World Championship will set up its camp this weekend at Autodrom Most in the north-west of the Czech Republic. The circuit has been only added to the calendar of the production-based championship in 2021.

Dominique Aegerter comes to the sixth stop of the series with acceptable results from Donington. In the Czech Republic a year ago, he finished eighth once and in P11 twice. The 33-year-old Swiss rider likes the track’s mostly fast and flowing layout and wants to continue in the same vein after last weekend's duel-heavy races.

«I think it is good that after many and long interruptions there are now two races in a row on the current calendar with Donington and Most. I have spent the last two days recovering well and at the same time preparing for the upcoming race weekend. Most is a beautiful circuit; the layout is a kind of “old school” but very demanding. Our goal is clearly to finish in the top six this weekend. After Misano, where we had a lot of bad luck, things went much better in Donington with two top 10 finishes. We also had a good grid position. So, I would like to build on that. Hopefully we will have a good weekend. We will try to achieve good results and make up ground in the points table. I'm also hoping for stable weather and I'm looking forward to Most, where I will be attacking at full throttle.»
