#DA77: READY FOR HOT ARAGÓN ACTION

Dominique Aegerter is looking forward to this weekend’s round 14 of the season with ambitious expectations.

For Dominique Aegerter his German based Kiefer Racing team, the break after the Misano race has been very short because a two-day test on last week’s Thursday and Friday in Valencia was not only in preparation for the upcoming at Spain’s MotorLand Aragón, but rather for the rest of the season too. In addition, Swiss rider Aegerter hopes to benefit much more form the two-day testing earlier this year at the Aragón track. This test has been accompanied by very hot conditions and the forecasts for this weekend are speaking about similarly weather.

The Gran Premio de Aragón came into the series’ calendar by accident back in 2010. But right from the start, the event along the nice and challenging track at MotorLand Aragón was able to inspire and meanwhile it has become a permanent entry to the World Championship.

#77 Dominique AEGERTER (Kiefer Racing), Championship position 17th (27 points):

"Actually, we are optimally prepared for this weekend. Apart from our test last week in Valencia, we also collected a lot of valuable data from a two-day test three months ago in Aragón. Because of this fact, therefore we should be able to start on Friday with a proper base setup for this track and get on speed more quickly into the weekend. So, if we manage to successfully convert this right from the beginning, the we should be able to reach our goal with a top ten finish on Sunday. On my part, I will also to my best at this track which is not easy to tackle for me. But I’m glad that apart from the weather it can be a nice weekend for us."
